I
have worked as an artist for more than 30 years, both on the West
and East coast. My work is in several mediums including oil,
acrylic, pastels, mixed media, graphite, and range from portraits and highly figurative peices
to non objective, in sizes from 7” to 7'.
I am inspired by nearly
everything, from the exquisite line of a rose petal
to the back of dying bud leaves, and the delicious complexity
of shape, light, & texture of a brand new clarinet, or
the ripe colors & glossy richness of a polished tomato. It's all
good.
Primarily I've organized this site by subject matter, the pieces
reflecting only a portion of what I've done. The commissioned
work I do includes portraits as well as fine art and fun stuff.
I also teach art privately, to both adolescents and adults.
